David Tennant hairs

SO YESTERDAY. Was fun. Me, Chris, and our friend Kevin went downtown to get haircuts (finally!!) after brunch. The bus was again super crowded going Apple Fest-ing. We decided to go into the nearest place that is in the Commons which turned out to be super cheap and the guy loved the fact I wanted short hair, since he specializes in it. So I love this guy and definitely coming back next time I need my hair shorn.
I LOVEEE MY HAIR. It's short, sweet, looks like David Tennants, and takes about 3 seconds to shower.
YEY.
Here's some pics (with my fake glasses):

So yeah, I have fun fluffing it.. After my haircut I hung out with a girl in my poetry class named Amanda. She's super cool and we like a lot of the same stuff so we had ample things to talk about. After that, I went to dinner and went to watch Christina's school production of Beauty and the Beast, which wasn't actually all that good and when that was done, we went and walked around for a bit and eventually went back and went to well-deserved sleep.

P.S. I re-found my Doctor Who random guy. His name is Byrant. And he's pretty good looking.
P.S.S. I also re-found the asian guys I danced with while trying to find the haircut place. Pretty awkward..

The story of Friday

So Fridays are when I have 4 classes, basically all in a row with only a break from 11-12. This Friday I decided to go down to the Writing Center for help with my paper for my seminar which I had finished but with a rubbish conclusion (I really suck at those..) so it was 2:45 and I thought I had plenty of time for my 3:00 appointment but my printer decided to randomly run out of ink so I put it on my flash drive and ran to the library to try to see if that would work. When I got there, it took me awhile to figure out how to log into that dang system and when I finally put in my flash drive, it came up as those annoying square things that happens when the computer can't read your paper.. it was then 3:07 and in frustration I ran to Smiddy (which is the furthest building on campus, no lie) to see if I could print it out there. I got there at around 3;15, and told them the story and they got me a computer that actually could read my file. I met with Lawerence, one of the writing center people. As he read aloud, we both made corrections and talked about how awesome my topic was, and how to write a good conclusion.
My paper is about sustainable cars, foucing on the super-cool, super-sustainable, and incredibly cute Air Car:

Yeah, this baby is amazing and I totally signed up to be notified when it's available in the U.S., which should be in 2010.
So anyways, right after my appointment, I got a text saying we were going down to Apple Festival in 15 minutes so I walked over to the dorm and walked with Chris and Amelia down to catch the bus, which was almost completely crowded.
The Apple Festival was AMMAZINGGG. We explored all the stands, got some Indian food (vegetable samosas, the thing of Gods), hot apple cider, apple cider doughnuts (not as good as back home, but pretty close), pumpkin cookies (orgasm in my mouth), and I also bought a 1/4 bushel of apples, where I mixed three different types of apples: a japenese one, Macoons, and a third I don't remember, but they are all really good and I've basically been eating nothing but apples. Guess I won't have to go to a doctor anytime soon.
So after all that, me, Chris, Mara, and Amelia decided to go to Urban Cowboy which was put on by IC After Dark and we played poker, me and Chris sack raced and lost but definitely won in spirit, and we danced the night away (while me and Chris also learned how to line dance). When we were dancing, we meet people who invited us to go with them to a White Party at a club/ restaurant called Poncho Villa. So the reason it was called White Party was that the price was reduced for gents and girls got in free if you wore white. So we took advantage of that. So we changed into white and grabbed the bus downtown. The whole bus was white, we looked like a cult. And so crowded, we barely fit people on. Notice my crazed look. Classic.

Anyways, we danced there until 12:45, I danced with two random asian guys (which I immediately told K-bo about) when we ran for the buses that apparently came at 1. We got to the stop and found that we still had about 40 minutes so me, Mara, and Ameila ran to see if we could fund somewhere with drinks and alas we did.
Tired and not wanting to move, we made our way back to the bus stop and waited for the bus. We got home around 2 and me and Amelia collapsed into bed.

ithaca kids at a halloween store.

I love weekends. On Friday, we went to go see Repo! The Genetic Opera, which is basically a combination of Sweeney Todd and Rocky Horror which is completely amazing and I love it, especially the song Zydrate Anatomy:

Yes, that is Paris Hilton as Amber Sweet, dancing sluttily and getting a surgery. She was actually really good in this movie except she just basically played herself, a self-absorbed slut who really like looking different/ better.

On Saturday, we all decided we needed a trip to the mall to get some clothes, shoes, and a haircut for me and Chris. So first we check out Target, where I got 3 long-sleeved shirts, a ring, and mittens. I love them all, they're all warm and comfy and I desperately needed long sleeves.
Next Christina and I went to Claire's. I got fake glasses and a necklace.. the fake glasses are a Doctor Who thing..

plus I need them for the Velma costume. Anyways, we were exploring the mall for possible places to eat when we saw a Halloween store.. And tried wigs, masks, and hats.

artwork & etc,

These are long- anticipated pic from the dorm room as well as my artwork that I did for Buzzsaw, a magazine I'm on the art team for here. My art director is so cute. The others are pictures I totally forgot were in my camera that I took on the way up to Ithaca and of the dorm room.

These are my 3 drawings, the first one is feminsim, the second is one based on the White Album (having the CD really helped, actually), and the third is Politics "then and now", the Issue is about a comparison between 1968 and 2008. It's pretty cool.

Here's some pics of the room all decorated and such and also the random Ithaca pics:

fire drills cause crazy nights

So nothing too exciting during the week, but everything gets more interesting over the weekend. So Friday we checked out our first college party, were we dressed up as Pirates and danced. It was really hot and crowded and basically all they were serving was beer so we left about an hour after we came. After that, we went around campus and eventually ended in Mara and Christine's room and sort of talked till 1:30 and we all desided to go back to our rooms and sleep.. except me and Amelia sayed up till 2 watching stuff on the internet and talkin and stuff. So next day was really rainy and gross so we really didn't want to go downtown so we stayed in and attempted to do homework, ate dinner, watched Ironman, and after we were all ready to play an epic game of Celebrities and Telephone Pictionary but the lounge in East Tower was taken so we tryed the 6th floor's. When we got up there, there was a girl going through an extremely intense break-up phone call. We all crowded around the door and listened.. What we hathered out of the converstion was the guy's name was Matt, they had been going out for 3 years, she saw them getting married (Matt said no to that, apperantly, which caused a freak out), She said she trusted him, he didn't trust her, She said it would never happen agian (Did she cheat?? We will never know, but we do assume), She said she was sorry, she loved him, she would do anything, ect. Anyways, it was really crazy, with all the sobbing and the drama we were all really into it (check out the pictures of us agianst the wall). Eventually we did play Celebrities and Telephone Pictionary but it got introputed when the fire alarm went off and we had to go down 6 flights of stairs, blech.
Instead of waiting outside for it to end, we decided to visit the turtle fountain which is really awesome and has a brigde over it. We had a camera.. and you can see what happened from there...
